On-Page SEO Checker
Audit any public URL for the core on-page SEO, AEO, and GEO signals that help a page become understandable, indexable, shareable, and easier to prioritize. The checker is deterministic and does not use AI.
Checks public HTML pages only. The audit is deterministic and does not use AI.
How this tool works
The OnSumo On-Page SEO Checker fetches a public URL and inspects the HTML without using AI. It checks whether the page can be indexed, whether the title and meta description are usable, whether headings are structured clearly, whether images and links have basic quality signals, whether schema markup is valid, whether social preview tags exist, and whether the page has answer-ready signals that can help search engines and answer engines understand the page.
Worked example
If a page returns HTTP 200 but has no canonical tag, two H1 tags, missing Open Graph tags, thin content, and no structured data, the checker lowers the score and lists those items as fixes. A content or SEO owner can then improve the page before sending it to AI for prioritization or to Google Search Console for inspection.
What the audit covers
Frequently asked questions
What does the On-Page SEO Checker test?
It checks indexability, title tags, meta descriptions, canonical tags, heading structure, visible content depth, internal links, image alt text, JSON-LD schema, social preview tags, HTML size, blocking scripts, and answer-engine readiness signals.
Does this on-page SEO checker use AI?
No. The checker uses deterministic HTML inspection and scoring. AI can still be used later to prioritize fixes, but the crawl and checklist itself do not consume AI tokens.
Can I check any website?
You can check normal public web pages that return HTML over http or https. Private network URLs, localhost URLs, credentialed URLs, and non-HTML files are blocked for safety.
Will a high score guarantee rankings?
No. A high score means the page avoids common on-page problems. Rankings also depend on search intent match, content quality, topical authority, links, technical performance, freshness, and competitive difficulty.
How does this help AEO and GEO?
The checker looks for clear question-answer sections, structured data, and entity signals that can help answer engines and generative search systems understand who owns the page and what answer it provides.
This tool checks deterministic on-page signals. Rankings still depend on search intent, content usefulness, technical quality, competition, links, freshness, and user satisfaction.
